Long Serving Franchisees Celebrate Silver Anniversary

Recognition Express is celebrating three of their franchisees opening twenty-five years ago this year.

Recognition Express started trading in 1979 when the first franchise of Recognition Express opened in Richmond, originally providing name badges for McDonald's and Kentucky Fried Chicken, at a time when badges were not widely used in the UK. Since then, the organisation has become the leader in corporate recognition products and has enjoyed a steady rate of growth.

The three franchisees that are now amongst the longest serving opened two years later in 1981. These are Thames Valley owned by Paul Mitchell, West Scotland owned by Stephen and Ciorsdan Price and North Scotland owned by Dennis and Tracey D'Arcy.

"We have much to celebrate - 25 years of year on year growth, a team of successful franchisees and a business which is expanding globally", said managing director Nigel Toplis. "My particular congratulations go out to the owners of these three franchises as they have managed to adapt to a constantly evolving marketplace and kept at the top of their game."

25 years on Recognition Express is now the one-stop-shop for all corporate recognition products including awards, business gifts, large digital printing and personalised goods such as umbrellas, pens, bags and clothing.
